All lessons on Crainly are paid prior to the lesson. This ensures that students are aware of the actual total price and there are no suprise fees after lesson is finished. 

Lessons can be cancled by going to My Lessons. Students can select "View" on the particular lesson they would like to cancel. After selecting "View" user will have the cancel option. 

Please be mindful of the tutors set cancellation policy listed on their profile. 

After a lesson is booked and the mode is set as Online, User can view the lesson in My Lessons. Users can join the Online lesson up to 10 minutes prior to the start time of the lesson. When a Online lesson is ready to join, there will be a "Join" button for users to select and be conected to the online session.

Currently Online Lessons can only be joined from a Computer and not a mobile device.

Students can request a background check on any tutor at anytime by going to the tutors profile and selecting "Purchase a Background Check." 

Please know that this may take 3-5 business days and is subject to a one time fee. 

Crainly allows lessons either the traditional In-Person that can be conducted at a local library or a nearby Coffee Shop. Crainly also offers Online Lessons that can be conducted virtually. 

After submitting your application, you should recieve a response within 48 hours.

Congrats! Welcome to the platform. Your profile will now be shown and available throughout the websites for students to locate you. You can also advertise your profile by sharing your unique profile link to direct students to your account. 

Absolutely! Tutors can bring their own students that they are currently tutoring to the platform or advertise their profile to prospective students.

Platform fees for lessons conducted with a student that was referred by the tutor will be waived. This means the tutor will recieve 100% of their hourly rate for every lesson conducted with that specific student. 

*Note that this only applies to lessons conducted with a student that was referred by that tutor they are conducting the lesson with. 

Tutors can attract more students by advertise their services on many outlets such as social media, online forums, or the old fashion word to mouth. Tutors will also recieve 100% of their hourly rate for every lesson conducted with a student that was referred by them!

Every tutor has a unique profile link that will direct students to their profile. This can be found by going to Account > Share Profile. 

Crainly does not charge any upfront fees or memberships. Crainly is proud to offer a low platform fee of only 20%. This 20% platform fee which will be automatically deducted from payout after a lesson is completed. We make nothing until you do!
